Dr. Carl E. Grimmett


Dr. Grimmett grew up in Trussville where he attended Hewitt-Trussville High School, graduating in 1974. His love and compassion for animals led him to Auburn University’s College of Veterinary Medicine where he graduated in 1980. After graduation Dr. Grimmett practiced with another local veterinarian before opening Grayson Valley Pet Clinic in 1982.

Today, Dr. Grimmett lives in Trussville with his wife Becky and is an active member of the First Baptist Church of Trussville. He is also a proud Grandparent.

He specializes in small animal and exotic medicine, surgery, ultrasound and endoscopy.


Dr. Lauren Robinson


Dr. Robinson attended Auburn University for her undergraduate studies where she obtained a BS in animal and dairy science and a minor in business. She went on to attend Auburn University College of veterinary medicine where she graduated in 2005. She has three children Wyatt, Lillie, and Allie and one dog. She is a big Auburn football fan, and enjoys traveling.

Our Staff

Randy Payne


Randy has been a employee of our clinic since November of 1986. He is responsible for keeping our office looking, and smelling good. He is also the one who comes in twice on Sundays to walk, feed and clean up after our boarders. He is a member of First Baptist Church Trussville. He lives in the area with his sister Gail.

Arlene Church


Arlene Church is part of the origional staff at Grayson Valley Pet Clinic. Through the years she has had a variety of jobs and duties here. Presently, she is our bookkeeper and has other duties which include that of receptionist. She has lived in Pinson for 35 years and has 1 dog and 14 cats.

Pat Roxby


I will be starting my 12th year at Grayson Valley. I now have 4 furry friends that I have adopted. Their names are Baby Girl, Parkle, Munchie, and Skeeter.

Jessica Holt


Hey! My name is Jessica, I have worked at Grayson Valley Pet Clinic for 8 years. I love all animals and can’t imagine working anywhere else! We have our own dogs and cats, and we also rescue and foster animals in need. My husband and I grew up in the Pinson/Trussville area and we have two kids, Ariel and Axel. Some days I am a vet tech, and other days I work up front as a receptionist.  I look forward to meeting you and your pets!

Dustin Gorman


My name is Dustin Gorman. I have a wife named Angie and a six year old son named Joseph. I love my family more than anything. I have been employed at GVPC for 5 years and have been in this field of work for 12 years. I enjoy playing music, playing golf, and listening to Phish.

Kansas Humphrey


Hey my name is Kansas and I am a receptionist and Vet tech at Grayson valley pet clinic. I am a proud owner to a dog named Stella. I enjoy every moment learning and helping animals in any way I can.

Jordan Coley


My name is Jordan Coley and I’ve always wanted to work at a veterinarian clinic since I was 4 years old. I am 23 years old and love animals with all my heart. I have two fur babies of my own and they are my world.

Shannon Hall


Hi, my name is Shannon and Ive been a Vet Tech for 6 ½ years. Taking care of animals is my passion. My fiancé Michael and I have two fur babies named Lula and Axel.

Amber Oliver


Amber Graduated Snead State with a Vet Tech degree in 2000, and she loves everything about taking care of your pets, especially surgical.  Amber is happily married with one daughter and two dogs.

Jennifer Estis


My name is Jennifer Estis. I am 37 years old and have been working with animals for my whole career.  I went through Pet smart grooming academy in 2007 after working in pet care for two weeks there.  Before that I was a Vet tech at VCA Becker in Homewood.  I am engaged and have two beautiful girls ages 14 and 2.  We own a farm in Morris Alabama called Allmosta Farm where I spend all of my free time.  I have a love for animals that is uncontrollable and have learned how to make a living taking care of my family with it.  The old saying, ”If you find something to do that you love, you will never work a day in your life,“ holds true to me.
